On 5 December, Mudgee will come together for the nurses who care for our community every day.
Join the ute and tractor convoy, enjoy an afternoon of free food, music and family entertainment, and help us give our nurses the celebration they deserve.
THE EVENT
mudgee4nurses is a community-led event celebrating the nurses who care for our town and region. It features a Christmas ute and tractor muster through town, a main event with free food and drinks for every nurse, and an after-party to finish the day. It’s a day to celebrate the people who care for everyone else and a reminder to all of us to be kind, courteous and respectful to our nurses.
Sponsor the event, promote your business and help support and celebrate our nurses together.

WHY OUR CAUSE MATTERS
More than half are considering leaving the profession. Most report burnout, high stress and emotional fatigue. Nearly a third of new nurses leave within their first year.
When Ned’s family offered nurses a coffee, more than once the gesture ended in tears. That response tells us the gap is real. As Dr Pamela Cipriano of the International Council of Nurses put it, “the world has treated nurses as an invisible and inexhaustible resource”. We think it’s time that changed.
All funds raised through neddy4nurses initiatives and projects are donated to the Australian College of Nursing Foundation (ACNF).
While neddy4nurses is endorsed by the ACN Foundation, we are an independent initiative and do not represent or act on behalf of the Foundation. The ACN Foundation manages all raised funds and project expenses directly, while providing valuable guidance and support.

Not every contribution needs to be financial. Local businesses, organisations and community members can support Mudgee4Nurses by providing products, services, expertise or resources.
This could include food and drinks, entertainment, event equipment, printing, prizes, professional support or anything else that helps bring the day to life.
Every contribution, large or small, helps us create a memorable celebration for the nurses who care for our region. In-kind partners will be recognised in a way that reflects the nature and value of their support.

Nurses too often go unseen and unrecognised, the Mudgee Ute Muster is our small way of changing that.
We invite all willing participants to decorate a vehicle, join the convoy and help us put on a display that is impossible to miss.
There are very few rules: make it festive, make it fun, and make sure there is some element of recognition for our nurses.
Whether you enter your own vehicle or help someone else get theirs on the road, there is a place in the muster for everyone.
